Who we are
We sit between the family kitchen and the container, so that recipes built over generations survive the journey to a shelf eleven time zones away.
Molway Foods works on three fronts: our own brand, contract development for food businesses, and the sourcing and documentation that moves product across borders.
Nostaljia® brand
Our own trademark-registered range: heritage recipes, reformulated for shelf stability without losing the character that made them worth exporting.
View the RangeImport and export
Sourcing, packing specification, labelling for the destination market, and the paperwork that decides whether a consignment clears or sits at port.
Export SolutionsProduct development
Formulation, DOE trials, accelerated shelf-life testing and cost engineering for brands taking a recipe from kitchen batch to production run.
Development workHow it works
Five stages between a family recipe and a landed pallet.
We start with the original, not a spec sheet
The first batch is cooked the way the family cooks it. We record ratios, grind sizes, roast profiles and the order things go into the pan, because that sequence is usually where the flavour actually lives.
Output: Documented benchmark batch
Typical: 1 to 2 weeks
Then we work out why it behaves the way it does
Roast profiles, grind particle size and blend ratios go into a factorial design, then a sensory panel scores each batch and ANOVA separates the factors that actually matter.
Output: Validated formulation and process parameters
Typical: 3 to 6 weeks
Shelf life is proven, not estimated
Freeze-drying and spray-drying preserve nutritional value and aroma, then accelerated and real-time trials across your pack formats make the printed date a tested claim.
Output: Shelf-life report per SKU and pack
Typical: 6 to 12 weeks
Labels written for the destination, not translated after
Ingredient declarations, allergen statements, nutrition panels and claims built against the rules of the market you are entering, with the certificates each consignment needs.
Output: Artwork-ready label and document set
Typical: 2 to 4 weeks
Packed, papered and on the water
Production planning, packing to your case configuration, inspection before despatch and coordination through to the incoterm you have agreed.
Output: Despatched consignment with full dossier
Typical: Per production schedule
